Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Synergy Onboarding Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the insurance sector. This role will be pivotal in driving and delivering impactful change initiatives within the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance processes, a proven track record in project management, and a passion for delivering successful business outcomes.
Role Accountabilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex business change projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Change Management: Develop and implement comprehensive change management plans to minimise disruption and maximise adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Operations, Underwriting, and Claims, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and best practices within the organisation.
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing complex business change projects, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Project Management Certification: A recognised project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
Skills and Abilities
- Change Management: A strong understanding of change management principles and techniques, with experience in developing and implementing change plans.
- Insurance Knowledge: A good understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
- Teamwork: A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the willingness to learn from others and contribute to a positive team environment
