About the role Working under the guidance of the Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the Society’s governance function. This includes ensuring that our Council, Committees, and governance processes operate smoothly, professionally, and in accordance with the Society’s Royal Charter and Bye-laws. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is highly organised, able to manage competing priorities with discretion, and confident working both independently and collaboratively. You will provide practical support in the preparation and follow-up of governance meetings, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism throughout. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the organisation and documentation of Council and Committee meetings, supporting the administration of elections, and contributing to broader governance activities such as the Fellowship nomination cycle and reporting processes.
