Sustaining Engineer

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Sustaining Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a maternity cover contract position with a proposed end date of 12th February 2027.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.

Duties:

Researches, develops, and prepares specifications for improvements to existing and/or new products, processes, equipment, and technology.
Identifies quality and cost improvement opportunities. Evaluates, develops and verifies product concepts to ensure products being developed are reliable and conform to specifications.
Responsibilities typically include:

Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
Problems faced are difficult and often complex
