Job Description
Sustainability/Senior Sustainability Consultant \n\nLocation: Manchester\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £60,000 DOE\n\nWe are looking for a passionate Sustainability/Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our client’s Manchester-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable design and decarbonisation, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on innovative projects across the built environment.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nLead the delivery of environmental and wellbeing assessments (BREEAM, WELL, HQM, etc.) from early concept stages through to completion.\nCarry out a range of modelling and assessments, including embodied carbon calculations, circular economy studies, building performance simulation, operational energy modelling, and overheating analysis.\nMentor junior team members, contributing to their technical development and project delivery skills.\nSupport clients in creating forward-thinking sustainability and energy strategies for both new and existing developments.What we’re looking for:\n\nA background in sustainability consultancy or engineering consultancy.\nExperience and competence in: Energy performance modelling, Whole life carbon assessments, Net-zero carbon strategies\nA relevant degree in engineering, environmental science, building physics or a related field.\nA strong interest in sustainable design and the ambition to create meaningful environmental impact.\nExperience working within the built environment sector.Benefits:\n\nCompetitive salary\nFlexible working arrangements\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nOpportunities to work on cutting-edge sustainability and net-zero projectsInterested?\n\nApply today or reach out to Katie at Aztrum for a private and confidential conversation
