They are committed to people, performance, and planet, and we seek to embed sustainability into every facet of our business operations and client delivery.\nDue to growth this Group in the Social Housing sector is seeking a Sustainability Manager for the North of England.\nROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES\n * Responsibility for overseeing the successful development and design of Retrofit and Decarbonisation projects\n * Provide advice and support to operational teams on sustainability and Retrofit matters\n * Assisting site teams with the delivery of fabric upgrades, energy efficiency measures and microgeneration works.\n * Understand & apply the range of current and proposed sustainability related such as PAS2035, PAS2030 and Building Regulations\n * Maintain and build relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors – both internal and external\n * Generate regular Client progress reports for presentation to Clients\n * Support with internal and external reporting of our sustainability performance and progress\n * Identify sources of grant funding to support property retrofit and improvement projects\n * Assist with bids and tenders to provide the relevant support on sustainable projects\n * Develop case studies, presentations and bulletins to promote, educate and raise awareness across the business of the impact of emerging climate, carbon and environmental issues\n * Ability to balance competing priorities from a range of stakeholders using a high degree of tact.\n * Engaging with a range of key stakeholders including contractors, clients, regulatory bodies, to help drive performance ensuring best practice is shared across the business and project at all levels\nESSENTIAL SKILLS\n * Strong, proven project management experience\n * Have experience of energy efficiency retrofit, preferably gained within a social housing environment\n * Desirable: Hold a level 5 qualification in retrofit coordination or equivalent.\n * Have/gain experience in identifying, securing and administering grant funding for energy efficiency retrofit\n * Have an understanding of the impact of energy efficiency retrofit on residential properties, and communities\n * Strong knowledge of current environment and sustainability issues\n * Confident & Competent in MS Office –Word, Excel, Outlook\n * Good interpersonal and strong communication skills\n * Excellent writing and presentation skills\n * Strong time management skills, allowing switching between a variety of tasks and meeting a combination of daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.\n * Must be analytical and Problem Solving with enthusiasm to enhance, improve, optimise, streamline.\n * A flexible, self-motivating and agile attitude, allowing you to respond to client needs.\n * Meticulous attention to detail and precise record keeping skills\n * Build strong relationships with colleagues, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit, encouraging them to be at their best\n * Ability to influence different departments to suggest, implement and track more efficient processes
