They aim to increase investment in life-changing eye care by supporting London's renowned Eye Hospital, its academic partner, and funding innovative research, equipment, patient care, and training through fundraising programs.

Supporter Relations and Engagement Officer

Part time: 22.5 hours per week

Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid

Salary: £36,403-£42,470 FTE

The supporter relations and engagement officer assists the supporter relations and engagement manager in executing the charity's strategy. They manage supporter relations, engagement, and stewardship to strengthen stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities include engaging with diverse supporter groups and ensuring high-quality thank-yous and stewardship across all giving channels, such as regular donations, fundraising events, gifts in wills, and major gifts. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a passion for the cause, and involves providing supporter care and line-managing two fundraising assistants to ensure effective stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with supporters and donors, understanding of supporter audiences across fundraising programs, proven event planning or management skills, and experience in a charity or marketing/membership organization. Line management experience is not required.
