Were looking for a caring, reliable and empathetic Support Worker to join our Dorset Outreach team.

Where youll be working: Weymouth Dorset We are looking for support workers to join our amazing team, and to continue delivering outstanding outcomes.

A minimum of 12 months on your right to work Encouraging activities he enjoys Promoting independence and wellbeing in a respectful, person-centred way experience with learning disabilities and complex needs (desirable, not essential) Willingness to learn and work closely with a tight-knit team A Full UK driving Licence Working 5 hours a day Monday to Saturday, flexibility required How we achieve our outcomes with the people we support .

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following; Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating
- effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods Engaging
- promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life Specialising
- supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches Recording
- keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
