Support Worker

We are looking for a friendly, positive and active Support Worker to assist a gentleman in his own home and community.
The gentleman is registered blind and has hemiplegia, but lives an active and engaging lifestyle. He enjoys sports, bowling and horse riding, and is a member of a dressage club ! So we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, cheerful and happy to support him to continue doing the activities he loves.
Hours:
Monday: 12:30pm 4:30pm
Tuesday: 12:30pm 4:30pm
Sunday: 12:30pm 4:30pm
About the Role:
This is a supportive and companionship-focused role with minimal care requirements. No personal care is required. The main aim is to assist the gentleman to remain independent and enjoy his hobbies and day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting with community activities such as sports, bowling and horse riding
Providing companionship and encouragement
Assisting with everyday tasks such as baking and cooking
Providing guidance and support when out and about
Requirements:
A cheerful, positive and active personality
Someone like-minded who enjoys sports and being out in the community
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
Reliable, supportive and respectful of independence
This is a rewarding role supporting someone to continue living an active and fulfilling life.
