Support Worker, Children’s Residential Home Bradford Up to £33,000 package inclusive of sleep ins 1 on 2 off shift pattern
We are looking for a Support Worker to join a children’s residential home in Bradford. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close knit team supporting young people to feel safe, valued and supported.
This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, positive and not afraid to get stuck in. Whether that is getting out for activities, kicking a ball about, or just being present and consistent, you will play a key role in the day to day lives of the young people.
What you will be doing • Supporting young people with daily routines and structure • Building strong, positive relationships • Encouraging independence and confidence • Taking part in activities and being a positive role model • Managing behaviours in a calm and consistent way • Working as part of a team to maintain a safe environment • Following safeguarding procedures and keeping clear records
What we are looking for • A positive, energetic and reliable individual • Someone who can build trust and connect with young people • Calm under pressure with a consistent approach • Experience with children or young people is desirable but not essential • Full UK driving licence preferred
