Maison Care Limited, founded in 1990, is a dedicated specialist care provider offering supported living to people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Complex Care, Challenging Behaviours and Mental Health needs. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Support Worker for 39 hours per week to join our well-established team based in Wivenhoe, Essex. We will also consider part time applicants Candidates should be naturally passionate about caring, reliable, take pride in their role and are able to promote independence and choice. *The Role:* ● Responsible for delivering high quality person-centred support and care. ● Assisting and supporting with personal care. ● Medication. ● Record keeping. ● Domestic duties. ● Assisting with in-house activities and within the community. *The Person: Essential Requirements* ● Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team and contribute to a positive environment with a can-do attitude even during challenging periods ● Possess good communication skills ● Be compassionate with a caring nature *Preferable:* ● Current clean driving licence due to location ● Medication trained ● Have a minimum of 6 months experience of working in a Residential/Supported Living setting ● You should be able to demonstrate experience in supporting vulnerable adults ● Hold an NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent. ● Demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of CQC standards *The Benefits:* ● Hourly rate £12.40 to £12.50 ● Career progression opportunities ● Paid training with a range of courses ● DBS costs covered ● Full time or part time, permanent contracts ● Overtime available *Schedule:* ● 13 hour shifts comprising of 8am to 9pm or split shifts of 8am to 2pm and 2pm to 9pm Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Pay: £12.40-£12.50 per hour Expected hours: 39 per week Application question(s): * Are you aware that Maison Care cannot offer sponsorship?
