Support Practitioner - Peebles
Earn up to £24,307.67 per year pro rata (Pay award pending the new rate will be confirmed at interview (subject to formal agreement).
Full-time, part-time, and relief roles available.
The Peebles service provides support to individuals within the town which enables them to live full lives and be involved in the local community. We are currently looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals that are driven to promote independence and life skills to our supported people ensuring they receive the best possible support in their daily lives. We are a busy little service actively involved in attending local activities and groups in Peebles. We support a wide range of people with their day to day living. Join our exciting team and help us continue to deliver a high standard of care which allows people to live their lives to the fullest potential. This includes days out to Edinburgh, Galashiels or wherever the supported person wishes to go; bowling, gym, swimming, cinema, holidays, weekends away, enjoying meals out, attending appointments and shopping.

Your main duties will include but not be limited to:
Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
