Academics is working in partnership with a wide network of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire East. We're looking to expand our pool of reliable, adaptable, and enthusiastic Supply Teachers with QTS for day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, and longer-term placements.
This role is ideal for teachers who value flexibility, variety, and work-life balance, while continuing to make a real difference in the classroom-without the ongoing pressure of planning and marking.
The Role:
Deliver pre-planned lessons (your subject specialism used wherever possible)
Provide general cover across other subjects when required
Maintain positive behaviour and a productive learning environment
Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings

We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in any secondary subject
Teachers open to flexibility beyond their main specialism
Strong classroom management and a professional, positive approach
Confident, reliable, and adaptable practitioners
