Would you like to work on a long-term or day-to-day basis, covering classes for absent teachers? If so Academics may just have the role you're looking for! Academics, Canterbury are seeking motivated and patient Supply Teacher(s) to work in schools across Canterbury and surrounding areas.

Academics provide support to schools that require flexible education specialists to cover staff absences, sometimes at short notice.

We also provide long-term specialists and, in most cases, opportunities for permanent work arise following these placements.

As a Supply Teacher you will deliver pre-planned lessons, assist with any queries and manage behaviour, with a long term role you will resume normal teaching duties which require planning and delivery of lesson.

Academics are currently looking for a number of Supply Teachers to work on a day-to-day and long-term basis at a number of secondary schools in and around the Canterbury area.

All these supply roles are perfect for experienced or newly qualified teachers who are looking for flexibility and the opportunity to visit a range of schools across Canterbury.

Subject Specialisms commonly required: Music, Design Technology (DT), Drama, Maths, English, Science, MFL (French & Spanish), History, Geography, Physical Education (PE), Religious Education (RE), Dance, Art, Performing Arts, Geography The Benefits of working with Academics: We offer good rates of pay, starting at £130.00 per day for General Cover and paid to contract scale when undertaking longer-term assignments which include planning and marking. xbpsjku
