Hays Education are currently seeking supply teachers to work in Primary schools across the Chester and Cheshire West area. This would be a great opportunity for ECT's/NQT's to gain vital experience across a variety of schools. Joining Hays Education as a primary supply teacher, you will teach in primary schools across the above areas and this could be across both EYFS, KS1 and KS2. If you do have a preference on key stage, we can endeavour to ensure you are only placed in the year groups desired, however it is beneficial if you are flexible on this. Supply roles can be for as little as a day of cover, as well as providing long-term cover where you could be asked to cover for a full academic year. As a Newly Qualified Teacher, it is also possible to complete your NQT year whilst on a long-term placement in a school. When working on supply in short-term roles, you won't be required to complete planning and preparation, therefore provides you with an attractive work-life balance. However, when doing a long-term role you will undertake the responsibilities of a full-time class teacher. In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have a flexible and adaptable approach as will likely be placed in different primary schools. You must be available to start as soon as possible and will be available for a minimum of 1 day a week. Flexible working options available.
