£40,000 - £45,000 + Training & Progression + Package
Excellent opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer with experience in testing & compliance to join one of the largest manufacturers in the world and develop your experience to become a V&V Engineer.
This is a great chance to move upstream into validation & test strategy, supporting the next of products, from the companies international R&D centre based in Stowmarket.
An ideal applicant will have hands on experience in testing & compliance, experience dealing with cross-functional teams, and come from a mechatronics / manufacturing background.
In this role, you’ll be working alongside designers, systems engineers, and product managers to plan, execute, and improve Verification & Validation processes that help bring premium products to market.
What you’ll be doing:
* Developing and improving test procedures and V&V strategies across new product projects
* Reviewing test results, troubleshooting issues, and helping drive engineering decisions
* Collaborating with teams across the UK and Europe to ensure products meet quality and performance benchmarks
* Managing test samples and timelines, tracking progress, and reporting back to project leads
* Contributing to product design reviews and participating in risk analysis discussions
What you’ll bring:
You’ve likely built your career in Supplier Quality, and you're now looking to move closer to the design and development side of engineering.
You understand compliance, international standards, and have had exposure to product testing, failure analysis, and continuous improvement in real-world manufacturing environments.
* A practical, hands-on mindset with strong problem-solving skills
* Experience reviewing and interpreting test data, with a good grasp of test planning and documentation
* The ability to bridge communication between testing teams, suppliers, and design engineers
* Comfortable interpreting 2D drawings, specs, and understanding DC electronics (current, voltage, loads)
* Familiarity with Excel, engineering reports, and structured test documentation
* A proactive, methodical approach and the drive to take ownership of V&V processes in a product-led environment
You don’t need to be a V&V expert yet — but you do need the mindset, curiosity, and technical base to grow into one.
