We are looking for well-organised and self-motivated people interested in a career in one of the UK’s leading waste and recycling companies. You will be responsible for supervising the site Operations team and ensuring the efficient running of site equipment and other tasks as required. Working in our Long Marston site, the successful candidate will be part of a team working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and Site Manager.

We are recruiting for 2x Supervisors to cover the following shifts –

Days 06:00 – 14:00 Afternoons 14:00 – 22:00.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of people

* Adopt and promote a Zero Harm workplace attitude, drive improvement in Health and Safety

* To ensure colleagues and visitors to the site comply with SHECS standards

* Develop staff to reach their objectives and develop their capabilities

* Provide support as required by covering Weighbridge, Mobile Plant, Banksman duties etc.

* Monitor the quality of material received at site and apply monitary knocks as required

* Maintain quality standards of materials coming off plants

* Segregation of stockpiles as required to Fire Prevention Plan

* Ensure any material that is not in line with specifications is reported to Site Management
