This is an exciting opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker who wants to have a real voice, influence positive change, and feel genuinely supported in their role.
The Role As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster carers so they can provide safe, nurturing, and high-quality care to children. Youll manage a manageable caseload (typically up to 13 families) across Bristol and surrounding areas , working closely with carers, colleagues, and partner agencies.
This role is ideal for a social worker with fostering experience who enjoys relationship-based practice and wants the space to bring creativity, reflection, and passion to their work.

What Were Looking For Qualified Social Worker (BA / MA Social Work or equivalent)

Registered with Social Work England (SWE)

Previous experience working within fostering

Friendly, approachable, and relationship-focused

Creative and reflective practitioner with strong professional values

Confident managing a caseload and supporting the needs of children and carers

Sound knowledge of safeguarding, fostering legislation, and childcare law

Willing to provide out-of-hours telephone support when required

Full UK driving licence and access to a car
