EF (Education First) Oxford Brookes Summer School is searching for an energetic, organized and confident individual to join our team as an Activities & Events Manager for summer 2026. Position Details
Full-time, 5 days a week Fixed-term contract: 4th June – 17th August 2026 Accommodation and full board provided if necessary
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a full programme of activities, events and excursions for our international students. Shape students’ experiences by organizing everything from small group interactive games to large events for over 1000 participants. Support and manage a team of local and international activity leaders, ensuring all activities reflect local culture, are safe, and are highly engaging. Participate in the Emergency Phone rotation. Set rotas for Activity Leaders. Lead feedback sessions on activities and events, continually optimizing the student experience. Coordinate with local suppliers and motivate the team to create an unforgettable summer for every student.
Requirements
Strong leadership skills with some team‑leading experience. Commitment to the highest level of customer service. Sociable and fun disposition with the ability to motivate and energise others. Financial and business acumen. English fluency and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure. Flexible approach to work hours. Trained First Aider (preferred but not essential). Experience working with 13‑17‑year‑olds (preferred but not essential). Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment. All offers subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
