You'll design and deliver training across substation fitting modules, support technical qualifications in power engineering, and assess learners against standards. You'll play a key role in developing the next of engineers while continuing to build your own career within training and education.\n\nThis role would suit someone with a background as a Substation Fitter, Electrical Technician, HV Technician, Substation Engineer or similar within electricity distribution or transmission. \nThe Role: *Deliver training across substation fitting modules\n *Support delivery of technical certificates in power engineering\n *Assess learners against qualification standards (NVQ / Diploma / EPA)\n *Design and develop high-quality training materials\n *Deliver compliance and safety training related to distribution activities\n *Support learners throughout their full training and assessment journey\n *Maintain high standards of health, safety and training delivery\n\nThe Person:\n *Background in substation fitting, HV/LV distribution, transmission or power systems\n *Experience as a Substation Fitter, HV Technician, Electrical Technician or similar\n *Minimum of 5 years' experience within electricity distribution, transmission or related sector\n *Strong practical experience in fitting, jointing or wider substation activities\n *Good communicator with the ability to support and develop others\n *Interested in moving into a training/instructor role and building a long-term career\n\nRise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.\n\nThe salary advertised is the bracket available for this position.
