Substation CDAE Designer

We are currently looking for a Substation Designer for our client for a 6 month contract.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Act in a CDAE capacity supporting the project across the design lifecycle
Provide ongoing technical oversight and coordination rather than isolated design
approvals
Support coordination between Offshore / international delivery teams
Interface with National Grid to support alignment of design expectations
Translate client requirements into deliverables across the engineering team
Support design development, review and progression through to approval
More involved than a traditional CDAE, requiring continuous engagement across the
process rather than periodic review and sign-off.

Key Requirements
Proven experience operating as a CDAE on National Grid transmission projects
Strong background in HV plant / substation design
Ability to operate in a lead / coordination capacity across multidisciplinary teams
Experience interfacing directly with National Grid stakeholders
Ability to work across a complex project environment with multiple delivery teams
This role falls inside IR35. Daily rates are open to negotiation.
Working from home with visits to various sites across England.
