Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Are you ready to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing substance misuse and homelessness? Belmont Recruitment is looking for an experienced Substance Misuse Recovery Worker to join a respected private charity in Sheffield.

About the Role:
You’ll be part of a dedicated team working with substance misuse clients and rough sleepers to help prevent homelessness. The service offers tailored recovery interventions through personalised weekly timetables, alongside multi-agency collaboration to ensure residents receive the support they need.

As a Recovery Worker, your responsibilities will include:

* Managing a mixed caseload of clients with complex needs related to substance misuse.

* Developing and delivering person-centred recovery plans.

* Facilitating individual and group sessions to support recovery.

* Providing harm reduction advice and BBV (blood-borne virus) interventions.

* Collaborating with detox teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care.

What You’ll Need:

* Enhanced DBS clearance (essential).

* A strong understanding of substance misuse recovery and harm reduction approaches.

* Experience managing caseloads and delivering tailored interventions.
