We cover both the communications and IT services markets. Our Wholesale business helps communications providers (CPs) and other organisations provide fixed or mobile phone services. Our ventures provide mass-market services like directory enquiries and payphones, and enterprise services including Fleet Solutions and BT Redcare. We also offer specialist enterprise services to our Internet of Things customers.

The Wholesale Sales function partners with and delivers capability to our biggest customers (across the UK and beyond), who in turn deliver communication services to their customers. In Wholesale, we leverage BTs assets, diversity and sales excellence to provide these customers with best in class, innovative technology that empowers their customers future.

We move up to 16,000 hours of content a day through the London Switch, serving more than five hundred media production and distribution customers around the world. As well as being the backbone of all UK TV services, we distribute TV channels for companies like NBC Universal and Viacom.

What youll be doing

• Responsible for the development and management for 6 of our Top 10 contracts across 4 key accounts, with an annual revenue in excess of 22M, developing business opportunities to generate long term sustainable growth and revenue for BT.
• Development of the account strategy and coordinating with the virtual teams across different functions to manage overall sales and contract performance for a strategic account.
• Promoting BT and its Wholesale capabilities, developing additional market opportunities for Wholesale.
• The role holder is a strategic professional, responsible for representing the Media and Broadcast team, selling our products, services, and solutions to the to achieve our ambitions of delivering growth across the business.
• Managing the customer relationship within the accounts, driving improved customer satisfaction and supporting the focus to positive NPS.
• Accountable for staying abreast of the latest sales developments and insight from the specific market verticals in order to ensure our products and services enable them to deliver the best services to their customers.

What we would like to see on your CV

• Strong track record of sales achievement in large accounts with high revenues.
• Influences, develop, drive and motivate sales operations at both a tactical and strategic level.
• Ability to deliver on business objectives over and above the sales targets.
• Success in winning large complex bids with non standard T&Cs and solution designs. (3-18 months sales cycle times)
• Experience of driving virtual teams to deliver necessary business results.

Flexible working

BT have moved to a hybrid working model - you can work from home 2 days per week. This means youll be at your contractual location 3 days a week.
