We are recruiting for a Subject Access Request Administrator to support the Records Request Manager, in ensuring that the Trust achieves and maintains compliance with Data Protection Legislation (as outlined in the Job Description below).

The role can be working from home and the base location is negotiable.

Main duties of the job

To provide comprehensive support to the Records Request Team. There will be an expectation for the post holder to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills.

The post holder will have high standard word processing skills and computer literacy. They will be required to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of records requests processes and timescales. The post holder will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes. They will need to be able to work within a team effectively and share work streams where appropriate.

Promoting a polite, empathic and efficient administration service to Trust staff, external suppliers, members of the public, and other organisations both via email and telephone. To be proactive and work to ensure the department meets all targets relating to the Records Request Team.

To process Subject Access Requests, and ensure disclosures meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation/Data Protection Act 2018, and Access to Health Records Act 1990.
