The Role As a Student Support Coach here at PeoplePlus you will be responsible for providing a warm, professional welcome to Education, leading the screening and assessment processes undertaken during Education Induction and also providing pastoral support to maximise learner retention and attainment. The Student Support Coach is the first point of contact for prisoners ensuring induction into the Education provision is effective and screening and assessment is completed in a timely and effective manner whilst adhering to all quality standards and administration systems and processes. The role also includes promotion of courses to potential learners across the prison establishment, recruitment of learners for courses, maintaining accurate records of achievement linked to tutor assessments and close liaison with partner agencies. The Student Support will provide ongoing advice and guidance about the courses we offer learners, whilst offering appropriate support is essential to ensuring classes are sustainable as well as the scheduling and invigilation of exams.
