Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting an award winning engineering consultancy business in the appointment of a Structural Surveyor, to support their clients in the maximisation of their assets and risk minimisation. You will support their full existing client base across the Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas, Food, Bulk Storage & Distribution, Renewables and Energy industry, and will be expected to travel occasionally to client sites (predominantly based within the Teesside region). The role focuses on supporting clients for all requirements related to surveying civil and structural works, and will be the primary contact for routine inspections of a varity of in-service equipment. Main responsibilities:
* Carry out inspections and surveys in line with relevant regulations for the following:
* Steel Structures
* Pipe Birdges
* Storage tank bunds
* Culverts
* Walkways, access ladders and platforms
* Jetties and dolphins
* Steel portal buildings e.g warehouses, boiler houses, or plant containing buildings
* Clear and concise report writing outlining survey findings, recommendations, and necessary actions; identifying potential challenges and discrepancies and communicate these effectively with clients and internal teams.
