We are exclusively working with a fast-growing and highly respected structural engineering consultancy specialising in timber design. Established nearly 2 years ago, this dynamic firm has quickly earned a reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
As demand for their expertise grows, they are now seeking a Structural Engineer to join their small but highly skilled team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative engineering projects while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote role.
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
Deliver structural design solutions for timber projects, ensuring compliance with UK standards and client specifications.
Produce accurate technical drawings and calculations using AutoCAD and specialist timber software (i.e. MasterSeries, iCalc).
Work collaboratively with the Managing Director and Senior Engineer to meet tight project deadlines.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure designs are practical, build-able, and aligned with project requirements.We are looking for:
A minimum of 3 year's experience working with timber structures in a structural engineering role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and a good understanding of timber design software (MasterSeries, iCalc desirable).
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and Eurocodes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a small, remote-working team.Why join?
