We’re supporting a specialist engineering consultancy operating within the tunnelling and underground infrastructure space, looking to appoint an Intermediate Structural / Geotechnical Engineer. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges across both structural and ground-related design. The Role You’ll contribute to the design and analysis of tunnelling and associated structural works, working on technically interesting projects in a collaborative environment. What We’re Looking For We’re keen to speak with engineers who bring a mix of the following: Experience with AutoCAD and/or similar CAD packages Strong problem-solving ability (essential) Confidence with hand calculations Exposure to 3D CAD tools Understanding of structural design principles Knowledge of soil–structure interaction Experience using geotechnical analysis software You don’t need to tick every box — mindset and approach are just as important.
