Locations include London, Manchester or Reading.General responsibilitiesCollaborate with Managers through Partners across AQD, Audit, and the wider firmFoster an open, constructive environment for technical accounting supportContribute specialist financial services expertise (e.g. Banking, Fintech, Insurance) to CRT outputsSupport and supervise junior team membersSpecific responsibilitiesReview annual reports for a portfolio of listed and high-risk companies, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and regulationsProvide practical solutions to complex financial reporting issues and advise junior team membersDeliver financial reporting training and updates internally and externallyDevelop tools and guidance for firm-wide useProduce articles and publications on financial reporting topicsAssist with draft responses to external consultations (legal, regulatory, reporting)Monitor industry developments and drive appropriate team actionsCoach and support junior members across CRT and AQDThe ideal candidateBe ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalentBe a Senior Manager in a technical team or have other relevant experience in technical financial reportingExhibit a strong working knowledge of:IFRSs, UK GAAP, and the Companies Act (IFRS 9, IFRS 17 specifically)Sector specialism for financial services, particularly Banking and Alternative Finance, Fintech or Insurance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
