Strategic Partnerships Development Manager Location: Huddersfield (Hybrid – 3 days in the office) Hours: Full-time, Permanent Ello Group is expanding, and we’re looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the launch and development of Vue International across Germany, Poland and other territories, while continuing to support our established UK partnership portfolio. What You'll Do You will be part of the Strategic Partnerships Team within Ello Group Operations, supporting the onboarding, delivery and long‑term success of our premium clients and partners. This includes a major UK mobile network’s national rewards programme, a leading renewable energy provider and a wide range of employee benefits partners, as well as cinema partners across the UK and internationally.
Lead and nurture key client relationships through proactive communication, regular check‑ins, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations, ensuring satisfaction and long‑term retention. Manage and grow relationships with new and existing Vue UK & International portfolio clients, focusing on delivering outstanding service and driving loyalty and performance. Collaborate with partners and internal teams to design and implement initiatives that boost engagement and ultimately product uptake. Partner with global Vue teams to create enduring and collaborative relationships that deliver shared value. Leverage broad business and industry knowledge—marketing, technical, data/insight, and operational—to advise clients and deliver on day‑to‑day expectations. Present confidently in client meetings, sharing updates on products, performance, and market trends to inform and influence stakeholders. Use data and market insights to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Respond promptly to client requests, coordinating with internal stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. Prepare and share performance reports and actionable feedback with senior management to drive continuous improvement. Build strong relationships with both client and internal stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and resolve challenges. Represent the company at conferences and industry events to expand networks and stay informed about sector developments. Ensure all contractual obligations are met, maintaining compliance and client trust. Work closely with the Head of Strategic Partnerships to develop and execute strategies for client growth.
Required Skills and Experience
A confident, proactive individual who is experienced, self‑motivated and able to deliver clear objectives. Strong strategic and commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering growth through both existing and new partnerships. Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with internal and external senior stakeholders. Socially adept, moving comfortably from informal conversations to senior stakeholder meetings. Confident representing Ello as the face of our partnerships. Previous experience in a client management role. Strong understanding of the market across all Ello products, including current trends, changes and future expectations. Strong people and communication skills. Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail. Creative, strategic and commercially minded. IT fluent, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong industry awareness and understanding of current sector developments. Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Skilled in prioritising and managing multiple obligations. Excellent time management and organisational ability. Aligned with Ello’s core values.
