Role Title: Strategic Lead - Women and Girls
Salary: Up to £37k per annum, dependent on experience
Location: National Cycling Centre, Manchester (flexible/hybrid working available)
Working pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours (occasional evening and weekend work may be required)
Start Date: As soon as possible

What will you be doing?
As our Strategic Lead - Women and Girls, you’ll take the lead in developing, managing and delivering products that inspire women and girls to discover the joy of cycling.
You will:
- Lead the development of inclusive and sustainable participation products designed to increase the number of women and girls cycling.
- Use data and insight to identify barriers, inform design and deliver products that meet the needs of women and girls.
- Oversee the end-to-end project management of products - from initial concept right through to national launch.
- Work with internal teams and external partners, communities and stakeholders nationwide to remove barriers (perceived and actual) and deliver products at scale.
- Champion change and be an advocate for equality for women and girls in cycling.
- Monitor progress, report on impact and share stories that demonstrate product successes.

In a bit more detail…
- You’ll have a background in sport or community development, with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience.
- You have a strong understanding of the challenges and inequalities women and girls face in accessing physical activity.
- You’ll be experienced in developing and managing products focused on underrepresented audiences.
- Ideally, you’ll have a creative and inclusive approach to product design.
- You’ll be experienced in managing teams, budgets and partnerships.
- You’ll have a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
- You’ll be able to communicate well at all levels.
- You’ll have a proven track record of working collaboratively across teams and organisations to deliver shared goals.
- While an understanding of cycling is preferable, it’s essential that you have a passion for getting more women and girls active.
