A leading UK professional services firm is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to support growth across its Southern region.


This is a newly created role with a strong focus on driving revenue through intermediary relationships, strategic targeting, and partner engagement. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, build pipelines, and embed a more commercial, proactive BD culture.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and deliver regional business development strategies aligned to firmwide priorities
  • Build and manage key intermediary relationships, driving new business opportunities
  • Lead client targeting and cross-selling initiatives across multiple service lines
  • Support high-quality pitch and tender activity
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and execute growth plans
  • Track performance, pipeline and ROI, using data to inform decision-making


The role requires:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development within professional or financial services
  • Strong track record working with senior stakeholders and influencing at partner level
  • Experience in intermediary management, client targeting, or relationship development
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and progress opportunities
  • Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative approach
