Stores Person / Forklift Driver, Based in Marchwood, Southampton, working days Monday to Friday 40 hrs, Salary: £13.23ph + overtime at time & half, 33 days holiday (inc bank holidays) with option to purchase holidays, pension, life insurance and excellent training / career development opportunities. We have an opportunity for a Stores Person / Stock Controller to join the market leading provider of Portable cabins, Secure Storage Solutions, Modular buildings and associated products. The Stores Person assists with goods receiving, safe storage and issuing of materials to end users and ordering of materials and associated administration. The ideal candidate will have previous Stores / Stock Controller and forklift experience. Stores Person / Stock Controller Main Tasks: * Receipt of and checking goods in, ensuring delivered in good condition * Off load vehicles using mechanical handling equipment * Organise, sort and manage stock levels * Chase late delivery/missing goods * Maintain stock records and stock take. * Operate B1 Forklift * Supply materials to operatives as required. * Ensure goods are stored in a safe and acceptable manner. * General stores duties including maintaining a clean and tidy workplace.
