A Stores Operative is required for a global manufacturing business specialisingin the design, manufacture and supply of a range of statictension and compression testing machines includingspecialist grips, fixtures and applications.

Responsibilities as Stores Operative Operate and manage the storage and rotation ofinventory. Kit parts for Mechanical and Electrical assembly. Generate shortage tickets when necessary. Assist in all areas of stores department whennecessary including packing. Create storage space for new items. Carry out periodicstock checks. Be a reliable and approachable source of help inall areas relatingto inventory. Look after all equipment provided and report faults Assist in dealing with third party contractors. Keep the work area clean and tidy. Use the computerised Stock Management System. Were looking for a Stores Operative with the following skills and experience: Fork lifttruck licence desirable. Working in a shop floor environment desirable. Good communication and numericalskills. Fluent in both written and spoken English. Driving license advantageous. Good customer service skills Must be physically fit. This is a full-time role, working Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30.
