Blue Arrow Edinburgh are recruiting for a temporary Stores Officer for our Public Sector client located in Edinburgh City Centre.The ideal candidate will have:* Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment.* Experience in using ERP/Stock/E-Procurement systems to receive and issue goods.* Good level of health and safety awareness.* Positive attitude to work with the ability to work within a team of stores officers.* Flexibility to work between sites when required.This position is for 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, check and put away stock deliveriesPick and issue materials as requiredMaintain accurate stock records and report discrepanciesKeep the stores area clean, organised and safeSupport regular stock takesFollow health & safety and company procedures at all timesSkills & ExperiencePrevious stores or warehouse experience desirableGood attention to detail and basic record-keeping skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and able to handle manual tasksBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.JBRP1_UKTJ
