We are recruiting for a Store Manager to join our team at Drayton Service Station, Watling Street, Fazeley, Tamworth B78 3RN. The Store Manager’s main responsibility is to manage a retail convenience store and forecourt. You will lead the team, set consistently high standards and deliver excellent customer service, promote sales and drive financial performance of the store. What's In It For

Responsibilities
Ensure the store is open for business as per company trading hours and customers are served quickly, professionally while providing excellent customer service. Manage stock, maximise sales, ensure product availability, merchandising and promotions within the store. Manage KPIs, control wage costs, manage waste along with stock and cash shortages. Responsible for overseeing the retail sale of alcohol and implementing challenge 25. Recruit and manage the performance of your team, ensuring they are trained to the correct level for their role. Complete daily back‑office paperwork and banking accurately within allocated timelines. Oversee food preparation and ensure food safety records are completed to company standards. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness across the store and forecourt. Manage fuel stocks, see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet business needs and in line with petroleum regulations. Implement company policies and procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner.
Knowledge & Skills The ideal candidate will have experience in a management or supervisory role within a retail environment. Lead by example, have a hands‑on approach and be able to manage, coach and motivate the team to maximise sales and profitability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
