Overview
Time Recruitment are currently supporting a longstanding client who due to continued growth and expansion are seeking an experienced Stick Welder to join the team, carrying out welding duties across various sites throughout the North West region. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Perform stick welding (MMA) to a high standard on a variety of metals and structures.
Carry out repairs, fabrication, and maintenance work on-site as required.
Ensure all welding tasks comply with health & safety regulations and company standards.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Operate welding tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Travel to multiple sites across the North West.
Communicate professionally with clients and site teams.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Stick Welder / MMA Welder.
Strong knowledge of welding processes, metalwork, and safety procedures.
Experience working on construction, industrial, or engineering sites.
Full UK driving licence (desirable due to site travel).
Valid welding certifications (advantageous but not essential depending on experience).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
Competitive hourly rate: £14.00 - £16.00 (depending on experience).
