L Y Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established civil engineering and pipework engineering company based in Ilkeston .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business working on high-quality projects within the civil engineering and pipeline sector .
The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for precision TIG welding on stainless steel pipework , ensuring all work meets ASME and British Standard requirements .
You will be working within a skilled fabrication and engineering team delivering high-quality welding and fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities TIG welding on stainless steel pipework and components
Working to ASME and British Standards
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Maintaining high levels of quality and safety standards
Working as part of a professional fabrication team
Requirements Minimum 3 years TIG welding experience
ASME coding experience is essential
Strong experience working with stainless steel
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Previous experience within pipework, civil engineering, oil & gas, or utilities sectors advantageous
Strong attention to detail and quality
Working Hours Monday Friday
7:30am 5:00pm
