Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Steel Erectors to join a major industrial project in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives seeking long-term work, strong day rates and the chance to work with a well-established contractor on a high-profile build.
The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.
Duties will include:
- Erecting structural steelwork on a large, fast-moving industrial site
- Operating MEWPs safely (IPAF 3a/3b required)
- Assisting with lifting operations if experienced
- Working closely with site supervisors and lifting teams
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
- Blue CSCS (Skilled Worker)
- IPAF 3a/3b
- Slinging experience – desirable
- Strong background in structural steel erection
- Experience on large-scale industrial projects
- Good awareness of safety and lifting operations
- Reliable, hardworking xbpsjku and able to work as part of a team
- Full PPE required
- £250–£300 per day (dependent on experience)
- Immediate starts available
- Weekly pay through Interaction Recruitment
- Supportive team and consistent site hours
