Static Stress Engineer - Airbus Filton

Location: Filton - minimum 60% on-site

Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Hourly Rate: £39.30 PAYE | £52.57 Umbrella

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (handled by Airbus Security)

IR35 Status: Inside

We're on the lookout for a talented Static Stress Engineer to join the Wing Structures team at Airbus in Filton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace projects, supporting structural integrity and certification of fixed-wing aircraft.

What You'll Be Doing

Performing static stress analysis on fixed-wing structures using Airbus PMTs Supporting trade studies and impact assessments for design improvements Compiling and reviewing certification dossiers (composite and metallic) Conducting risk assessments for in-service occurrences Collaborating closely with Wing teams and reporting to the Delivery Team Leader Providing updates to the Senior/Lead Stress Engineer on work package progress What We're Looking For
