Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Static)

Salary: Up to £41,000

Location: Kings Hill, West Malling

Contract: Permanent, Full time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

What you’ll be doing as a Maintenance Engineer:

The Maintenance Engineer will be expected to respond to reactive jobs throughout the day and support the on-site Facilities Management team with general requests. This can include tasks such as lighting replacements, minor plumbing repairs, basic fabric works, and assisting with office-related safety items such as cable management.

· Carry out routine compliance tasks, including emergency lighting tests

· Maintain safe conditions and safe working practices within the building

· Support the on-site management team with other day-to-day operations

· Liaise with contractors and engineers working on-site.

What we are looking for:

· Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role is essential

· Organised, self-motivated, and adaptable to a variety of tasks

. Pro-active, friendly, professional and people oriented

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This is not a technical or mechanical maintenance role. Its ideal for someone who has hands-on skills or basic building maintenance experience.
