Role Profile
Market and Clearing Operations support the running of core business processes on a day-to-day basis through analysis, monitoring and escalation. Responsible for ensuring that key business processes run effectively, managing data and ensuring compliance to processes. Managing issues that arise, ensuring that they are resolved or advanced, carefully managing operational risk and client needs.
The Central Onboarding Operations team is a centralised resource supporting LCH Ltd and Post Trade Solutions Ltd. The team sits within Customer Success Management and is based in London and Manila. Central Onboarding Operations is organised across four functions, Central Onboarding and Network Management and Static Data and Client Onboarding. The team is responsible for the onboarding of new as well as the maintenance of existing Members, Clients and Counterparties, inbound due diligence, KYC requests and running the annual membership review process.
The role holder will support the Static Data and Client Onboarding function. The area is responsible for the processing, operation and transmission of Calypso static data and plays a critical role in resolving Calypso end-of-day and cover distribution issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing of all static data within three LCH core systems - Calypso, Salesforce and RiskPortal. Including but not limited to new and extending Members and Investment Counterparties.
- Swift Template creation and maintenance.
- Maintaining robust end-to-end processes and procedures for the set up and maintenance of all static data.
- Responding to static data requests and enquiries on a timely basis and within the agreed Service Level Agreement.
- Help to resolve operational issues in an accurate and timely manner; bringing to the attention of management where appropriate.
- Perform call-backs to authorised third parties to validate bank account change requests or new instructions with counterparties.
- Continually develop a strong understanding of the importance of data integrity and carry out all requests with a quality and control mind-set.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers with clear communication of requirements, timelines and any operational issues or delays.
- Onboard Clients for all account types offered.
- System reconciliations and data error detection and resolution.
- Support Collateral Change and Collateral Operations with projects from testing phase through to go-live.
- Gather evidence to support key controls.
- Out of hours / flexible working required.
- 'On call' availability may be required.
Must Have Experience and Skills:
- Highly methodical
- Analytical with problem solving skills
- Ability to work optimally at all levels of an organisation and build positive relationships
- Excellent attention to detail, data integrity and organisational skills
- Positive and forward thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Word, Excel and Outlook required
- Use of Salesforce and Calypso an advantage
