Job Description Staff Nurse Pre-Assessment Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham The Role We have a fantastic opportunity for a Staff Nurse to join the Pre-operative assessment team. Working as part of the wider clinical team to provide a high standard of efficient, individualised patient care. A strong communicator with exceptional standards for customer service standards. Adhering to all of Ramsays policies and procedures to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for patients. A strong advocate of the Ramsay Way and People Caring for People, we are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years experience in the pre operative assessment unit. Clinical Duties Conduct holistic pre-operative assessments, including medical history, medication review, and clinical observations. Identify clinical risks, optimise patients pre-operatively, and escalate appropriately to anaesthetics, medical teams, or senior colleagues. Request and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, ECGs, MRSA screening) in line with service protocols.
