Responsibilities:

Providing communications systems engineering inputs on cost and planning for bids and proposals Ensuring programmes are appropriately resourced with communications systems engineers Mentoring, coaching, and developing systems engineers Conducting performance reviews and managing recruitment Owning the communications systems engineering process Leading project technical reviews and offering systems engineering technical leadership as required Serving as a technical interface to customers and subcontractors Developing innovative solutions to engineering requirements and analysing performance Ensuring the delivery of verified flight equipment compliant with customer requirements

Job Requirements:

Experience in SATCOM, Radio Frequency, ASIC, Software Engineering, and Systems Architecture Significant team management experience (15-30 people) Extensive systems engineering experience in satellite or telecommunications industry Good understanding of technologies for radio frequency telecommunications, including software, electronics, ASICs, and FPGA
