Robertson Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company as they currently recruit for an experienced spot welderto join our busy sheet metal fabrication team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working hours
Monday to Friday. 08:00am - 16:00pm
Key Responsibilities Operating spot welding machines safely and efficiently

Spot welding sheet metal components to drawings and job instructions

Checking weld quality and carrying out basic inspections

Setting up jigs and fixtures as required

Carrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance

Requirements
Previous experience as a spot welder in a sheet metal or fabrication environment

Ability to read and follow engineering drawings

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Strong understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing setting
