Hours: 8am - 4pm with an early finish on Friday's

My client are looking for a passionate Speech & Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting autistic children and young people to develop their communication, independence, and life skills.

About the Role

Manage a specialist caseload of autistic pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based assessments and interventions
• Support and implement AAC systems and total communication approaches
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and professionals on EHCPs and learning plans
• Provide training and guidance to staff and parents
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy qualification
• HCPC registration (essential)

Required Skills

• Experience working with children/young people with autism
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• A collaborative, empathetic, and proactive approach
