Key Responsibilities\n\nAssessment and intervention: Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and deliver tailored therapy programmes.\n\nCollaborative working: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to embed communication strategies across the school day.\n\nTraining and support: Provide training, modelling, and guidance to staff to promote communication‑friendly environments.\n\nDocumentation: Maintain accurate records, write reports, and contribute to EHCP reviews.\n\nFamily engagement: Liaise with parents and carers to support communication development at home.\n\nAbout You\n\nQualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.\n\nExperience working with children or young people with SEN (school‑based experience desirable but not essential).\n\nStrong understanding of AAC, social communication approaches, and evidence‑based interventions.\n\nExcellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.\n\nPassionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs
