The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Bank Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapies Department. This is a specialist role where you will work autonomously across varied inpatient and outpatient caseloads, including neurological rehabilitation, critical care, and head and neck cancer.
You will provide advanced clinical assessment and intervention, contribute to service development, and act as a resource for multidisciplinary teams. Experience in videofluoroscopy and Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) is highly desirable.
What We Are Looking For:
Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree
HCPC registration and RCSLT membership
Experience working autonomously at Band 6/7 level in adult SLT
Strong knowledge of specialist pathways and evidence-based practice
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage complex caseloads independently
Proactive, adaptable, and committed to high standards of patient care
Desirable:
Experience in head and neck cancer, intensive care, and neurorehabilitation
Independent use of videofluoroscopy and FEES
Private sector experience
