Are you a Speech and Language Therapist looking to develop your expertise in autism, AAC, and complex communication needs within a highly supportive, well-resourced environment?

We are recruiting for an Outstanding-rated independent specialist provision supporting children and young people (4-19) with a range of communication profiles, including verbal communicators, AAC users (high- and low-tech), and gestalt language processors.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative multi-disciplinary team where therapy is fully embedded into the school day

Assessing and supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
Delivering 1:1, paired and group interventions
Supporting AAC implementation and communication strategies
Embedding communication targets into daily learning and routines
Working closely with families and staff to generalise communication skillsThis role is ideal for:

A recently graduates SaLT who is looking for their first placement within an education setting and support to sign off their competencies
A Band 5 SaLT ready to step up into a more specialist or senior role
A Band 6 SaLT looking for a more integrated, school-based position
Therapists with an interest in autism, AAC, and neurodiversity-affirming practice
Clinicians who enjoy hands-on, practical, and collaborative workingWhat you'll need:

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience or strong interest in paediatrics / SEN / autism
Knowledge of AAC and communication interventions (desirable, not essential)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to evidence-based practiceAbout the setting:
