Speech and Language TherapistBasingstoke SEN SchoolAcademics have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to join a successful SEN Academy Group, working across three of their schools in Basingstoke, Hampshire. This is a permanent opportunity paying between NHS banding 5-7 starting from £31,049 - £54,710. Depending on experience.The successful Speech and Language Therapist will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working to establish and develop:A speech and language therapy service to meet the needs of pupils across the academy.A continuing CPD programme for the school staff in line with the school's development plan, delivering training etcAn integrated approach to embedding therapeutic strategies across the curriculum which will provide support for a wide range of SLCNSpecialist interventions as part of a holistic integrated approach - as prescribed by the SaLT teamYou will be required to participate in clinical supervision sessions and where appropriate, provide supervision to peers. You must be able to demonstrate good clinical knowledge in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of language and communication difficulties in young people from the age of 5 - 19 years.To be considered for the role of Speech and Language Therapist, you must:Have a recognised professional qualification in Speech and Language TherapyBe HCPC and RCSLT registeredBe able to provide evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team with children or adults with communication needsIf you are Speech and Language Therapist who is able to commute to Basingstoke daily for work and would love to find out more about this fantastic opportunity, please apply!JBRP1_UKTJ
