In this role, you will identify, develop, and manage new and existing specifiers (LA, HA, Developers, Consultants, Architects) to promote and sell Daikin Air Source Heat Pumps. As a Specification Sales Engineer for Daikin UK, you will be the key link with both New Build and Social Housing clients for the area, promoting and selling our range of Air Source Heat Pumps. You will meet and liaise with both National and Regional Developers to obtain first time Daikin specification and continued specification of Daikin products. Meeting and liaising with Local Authorities and Housing Associations to obtain Daikin specification of Capital Works projects, including one-off replacement programs. You will: Manage Existing Specification clients. Plan for new Specification clients. Carry out Presentations and CPDs. Manage end-to-end project tracking, sales forecasting, and conversion. Increase specification sales pipeline volumes for renewable products (heat pumps). Manage projects from initial specification through to contract award by producing designs, technical proposals and promote Daikin as a preferred supplier. Liaise with Daikin Sales Engineers. Act as the key contact for after-sales customer care, ensuring expectations and SLAs are met in an efficient manner. The Ideal Candidate: You will have a strong background in sales or specification within the heating industry, ideally with experience in merchant or distribution channels. A solid understanding of renewable technologies, particularly Air Source Heat Pumps, will set you apart, along with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear, compelling proposals for clients. You will be ready for a challenge, energetic and customer focused. A passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive impact in the transition to low-carbon heating solutions will make you an excellent fit for this role. Who Are We?
